The Domaine Bastide Jourdan is located between the Massif d'Uchaux and the plains of the Lez on a clayey-limestone soil in Organic Agriculture. It is made up of 22 hectares, including 7 red and 4 white varieties. The vines are between 10 and 60 years old, the oldest have a very limited yield. The main part of the harvest is manual. The vinification is traditional for the reds and very innovative for the whites and rosés with temperature control and tangential filtration for the sweet wines. The ageing is done in barrels for some prestigious vintages which allows to have wines that can be kept for a long time. The sun and the Mistral on the vineyard allow to give generous and fruity wines.

Our story

Our estate is a small family vineyard created in 1990 by Valérie and Jean-Pierre Jourdan in the communes of Bolléne en Vaucluse and Rochegude in the Drôme Provençale. Since 2012, with my brother Valentin, we have joined our parents and our grandfather Roger, aged 91 and still on the tractor. The main characteristic of the estate is to sell our 18 different vintages almost everything to private individuals.

Other little stories

Being a winegrower is a real family story for me. I can still see him today on the estate with my 91-year-old grandfather who still works in the vineyards, but also with my parents and brother. It's so beautiful to be able to share this beautiful job with your family!

Most of our harvests are done by hand, but we also have a small harvesting machine to ensure that we always harvest our grapes when they reach maturity. Nothing beats a tasting, so see you soon on the estate to discover our different vintages!
