Domaine de l'Enchantoir has its rightful place in the history of Saumur wines. Its soils, rich in clays and limestones, have made the reputation of its wines since the 19th century. Located at the foot of the hill of l'Enchantoir in the heart of the Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame appellation, we cultivate our organic vines of chenin, chardonnay and cabernet franc which will then be aged in our cave cellars or concrete vats dating from the first half of the 20th century. Our rich and fruity wines are the best ambassadors of our beautiful saumurois terroir.
If the Domaine de l'Enchantoir has had a history linked to the vine for several centuries, it is in 2016 that it passed into the hands of the Brunet family, a Touraine native and wine and nature lover, their objective is to work daily to promote the young Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame appellation and organic production in the Val de Loire.
From the courtyard you can access part of the network of cave dwellers, these underground tunnels that wind through the whole territory of Puy Notre-Dame and allow for optimal storage and conservation of our wines
