The vineyard is entirely organic. Our wines are entirely produced from grapes grown in our vineyards and we carry out all the operations ourselves, from planting to bottling, in order to control all the stages of production. The vinification is natural, without yeast or enzyming, to allow maximum expression of the terroir, with a minimum and controlled use of sulphites.
Domaine de Montcy in Cheverny is a wine estate taken over in 2007 by Laura Semeria. Formerly the vineyard of Château de Troussay, the estate is entirely organic. The vinifications are natural and made only from the grapes of the estate to allow maximum expression of the terroir. 3 AOCs are produced: Cheverny in white, rosé and red, Cour Cheverny in white and Crémant de Loire. Since 2011, the Domaine has been producing a range of artisanal jams made with seasonal fruit from organic farms, in particular Berry sugar, Sologne strawberries and Domaine de Montcy grapes. In 2012, the Domaine designed and installed an unusual accommodation in the middle of its vines: Les Sens de la Terre. Entirely made of wood, equipped with a device allowing you to watch an olfactory film shot on the estate, it offers a total immersion in the world of vines and wine. Since June 2014, a reception and seminar room has been available: the Vignes suspendues de Cheverny. Eco-built, very spacious (300m²), it has the original feature of having a green roof with vines. Finally, many activities complete the wine tourism offer. In addition to the organised visits to the vines and cellar, the now traditional grape picker's day, the passage of the Cheverny marathon in the cellar, the Domaine also has a vine conservatory of the local grape varieties and offers a fun and educational tour in the vines: the Mystère de la Grappe d'Or.
