Our estate is located in the commune of Sernhac, near the Pont du Gard. In the Rhône Valley, we produce wines from the Costières de Nîmes and Vins de Pays appellations. Our vineyard extends over about 20 hectares around our cellar and the soil is composed of the famous rolled pebbles, typical of the region, which we work while respecting the local plants and natural fauna. We have been labelled High Environmental Value since we have been preserving the ecosystem of our vines, and the grape varieties grown are typical of the region: Syrah, Grenache, Carginan and Mourvèdre. Our other parcel, located in the Poulvarels area, welcomes with its gravelly soil the grape varieties that give all the fruit to our wines: Sauvignon, Cabernet and Merlot.
Elisabeth and Pascal Glas took over the estate in 2004, while Pascal had been working for other estates since the beginning of his wine career. Together, he took up the daring challenge of restoring the estate's reputation and reviving the vineyard. After having completely rehabilitated the vineyard, they built a brand new cellar. This architect's cellar is representative of the modernity used by Pascal in the design process. With its innovative shapes, this cellar is made of Pont du Gard stones and insulating materials to obtain an optimal conservation and maturing temperature. since then, Elisabeth and Pascal's wines have been constantly rewarded in competitions and noticed by the specialized press. It is indeed Pascal who transmitted to Elisabeth his passion for the vine and they continue today to develop the vineyard and the marketing of their vintages.
Here, it is not possible to separate the domain of Pascal and Elisabeth. Since their association in 2004, they have been working together, in the same way to obtain the best of the rolled pebbles that make up the soil of their vineyard.
