(58) Nièvre

Our estate is located in the Centre Val de Loire, in the Nièvre, in an AOC zone. We have chosen not to claim it in order to keep a certain freedom of expression in the conduct of our vinification.... One wine, one winemaker! Our vines are cultivated in accordance with the specifications of organic farming. We work our soils, particularly through animal traction services. Low-yield harvests are carried out manually with a basket-by-basket sorting. We only keep the ripe grapes we would eat. Vinification must be the simple expression of the terroir, so we do not use industrial yeasts (only indigenous yeasts naturally present on our grapes), no addition of sugars or glues. This year, only moderate filtration and sulfiting were carried out.

Our story

We took over this small organic estate last year and offer you our very first ripe and delicious vintages. Our challenge is to make our estate known through the purity and originality of our wines. We do not want to hide behind an AOC to justify the quality of our production but to offer you "great" "table" wines.

Other little stories

Burgundian farmers and cousins of Champagne winegrowers, it is therefore quite naturally that we ended up becoming so too! We met beautiful people who brought us experience in this field but above all ambition... because to want to arrive is already halfway there.

To make wine is to give up a part of oneself... because the soil and the vines that grow there do not lie. We are only two organic winegrowers in this appellation! At the heart of an appellation, we decided to make wine differently, without following a set of specifications because we consider that wine is something open and we wanted to preserve our freedom of expression! As grain producers, we have always worked in organic farming. For us, it is a way to achieve very high quality wines with techniques that respect the terroir. Our yields are low because we are looking for quality first and foremost. Thanks to this, our sauvignons are ripe, fruity and gourmet! They offer aromas of orange marmalade, exotic fruits, peach... hence the name tutti frutti! Our table wines are suitable for both a camping table and a Louis XV table. Our key word: "one wine, one winemaker."
