The domain

The Domaine des Ducs de Magenta is located in the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet, well known for the appellation that bears its name. It is on this estate that Amélie de Mac Mahon, Duchesse de Magenta, produces typical Burgundy wines on her 8 hectares of vines, and we have a terroir that perfectly welcomes the king of Burgundy grape variety: Chardonnay. Our host Arnaud was very welcoming and gave us more time than expected. Very informative. VG English! Fun odour test. Wines were very good. we had previously been to a big Chateau and seeing this family run small vineyard was delightful. recommend the experience to anyone.

Bellissima esperienza! Le ragazze che ci hanno accolto sono state molto brave, la visita è stata molto piacevole e ci siamo immersi nella storia, cultura, e nel savoir-faire dell?azienda che ci ha accolto. Bella la degustazione nelle vecchie cantine e ottimi i vini! Consigliato a tutti coloro che vogliono fare in esperienza nella vera Borgogna.
