In the heart of the Coteaux de l'Aubance, the river of the same name flows through and breaks through the Armorican massif. The soils of this region are made of shale, chalk and clay.
The new reception cellar was created in 2001 and this warm place allows visitors and interested parties to be welcomed for tastings with the winegrowers. A good way to discover the history and work of the estate with the winegrowers! With this transmission from generation to generation, the wines have become as friendly as their winegrowers.
About the friendliness of the winegrowers, open doors are organised at the estate on the third weekends of March and December. The
opportunity to visit the estate and discover the wide range of wines produced in AOC, Anjou Blanc et Rouge, Anjou Village Brissac, Coteaux de l'Aubance, Crémant de Loire, Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou.
Near Brissac, a town famous for its 17th century castle and 18km from Angers, Domaine Dittière is located in Vauchrétien. This profession as a heritage, Joël and Bruno exploit the 40 hectares of the estate. One third of it is located on hills where the vines used for the production of Anjou Villages Brissac and Coteaux de l'Aubance are located. These few appellations are the pride of the estate! The remaining two thirds are located on plateaus, the appellations Anjou, Cabernet d'Anjou, Rosé de Loire and Crémant de Loire are produced.
The grape varieties used in this vineyard are Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon for all red and rosé wines. The
whites are produced thanks to the Chenin. The
whole estate respects a reasoned agriculture for its production.
Several times rewarded by the profession, the Domaine Dittière has been noticed by the Guide Hachette 2019 for the vintages: Anjou Brissac 2016 "Clos de la Grouas", Coteaux de l'Aubance 2016 "Les Boujets" two stars for Anjou Brissac 2015 "Prémium", one star for Rosé de Loire 2018
The Gold Medal was awarded to the Coteaux de l'Aubance 2016 "Excellence" cuvée by the Independent Winegrowers' competitions but also the 2018 General Agricultural Competition.
We will also note a Bronze medal at the 2018 General Agricultural Competition in Paris for the Anjou-Villages-Brissac 2016 "Clos Guenet" vintage.
