Our lands are those of the Mediterranean, swept by the cold winds of the northwest and the hot and humid sailor of the Mediterranean basin... The vineyard is a hundred years old and all our grapes are hand-picked. We are committed to the highest respect for the ecosystem, and we cultivate our vines just like every other living organism. A living wine! The expression of this exceptional terroir between the sea and the mountains. We are inspired by biodynamic agriculture, agro-biology and we work our wines in lithotherapy. To your health!
Le Phénix was reborn in 2014 when Christian Marti, accompanied by some friends and family, took over this little piece of paradise located in Peyriac de mer in the Corbières maritimes, an old vineyard (70 years on average) made up of 4 grape varieties: Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah. Each natural element that makes up this ecosystem has been treated with the greatest respect in order to produce our wine. We adopt notions of permaculture and biodynamics in order to restore a balance favourable to all. in the cellar we age the wine in oak barrels for 14 months, very few sulphites for the vintages 2014, 2015, 2016 and without added sulphites for some of our 2017 vintages. We seek to produce a healthy wine by keeping all the active products (very little filtered), and we are also inspired by lithotherapy (use of the energetic power of stones and rocks) and music therapy (use of music for therapeutic reasons)... If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them.
