At the foot of the Solutré rock on clay-limestone soils dating from the Jurassic period in the south of the Mâconnais is the Domaine du Roure. Our small family estate of about ten hectares produces wines made from Chardonnay grapes that flourish on different terroirs, which will allow you to discover a panel rich in aromas and scents.
Created and handed down for five generations, the estate enjoys a unique know-how, whether in the vineyard or in the cellar. This knowledge, combined with contemporary methods, allows me to offer you ever more finesse, richness and quality in our wines. All this of course in the respect of our environment in order to continue the perpetual transmission of the terroirs.
My passion for wine came thanks to my parents whom I was able to see working with passion in the vineyards but also in the cellar and thus transmit their know-how to all the customers who came to visit our estate. So since I was a child I have been immersed in it and I therefore wanted to take over the family estate with pride, which has been passed on for five generations.
Today, I am making the new vintage. Indeed, due to the ever-increasing demand, I am preparing to bottle the 2015 vintage three months ahead of schedule.
