Christian et Bénedicte discovered viticulture in Alsace. He is a farmer from the Loire Valley. Bénédicte, has Alsatian family viticultural origins. Together they decided to create Domaine Dyckerhoff in 2000.
On the banks of the Arnon, on the banks of the Cher, our vines cover an area of about 6 hectares. They are planted on gently sloping limestone marl slopes and on high terraces of sand and gravel. We produce Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
Our production is composed of 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Pinot Gris and 10% Pinot Noir. We have recently joined the Terra Vitis Label. This label is a guarantee of respect for nature but also for people. It commits us to using sustainable and certified practices to ensure that the quality of our products continues to grow. This approach allows us to make healthy and authentic wines, simply letting the terroir express itself.
We have a modern cellar, which allows us to create our wines in impeccable hygienic conditions.
We vinify our wines in the traditional way, with maturing on fine lees, and regular pumping over in order to obtain more fullness and fat in our wines.
Our estate is a family business established a few years ago in the Reuilly Appellation area, in the Centre Loire in the heart of Berry, 2 hours south of Paris. The story begins when Bénédicte, an Alsatian winegrower, joins her husband in the Loire Valley. Coming from an old wine-growing family and having worked with her father for many years, having discovered wine-growing in Alsace and finding the profession exciting, they decided to launch into the Reuilly Appellation in order to give their wine "a moment of conviviality and pleasure".
A rosé with Pinot Gris, and why not? Surprising you say? Test it, it will delight your taste buds!
