Damien Laurent

The Domaine's vineyards cover 39 hectares, divided into 165 parcels spread over the many hills and slopes of the Sancerre appellation. We are fortunate to have a vineyard evenly distributed over the 3 terroirs of the Sancerre appellation. Made up of a myriad of small plots, we have access to a wide variety of soils, slopes and exposures. Our soils are cultivated with respect for our terroirs, the plants and the environment, since we are certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and Vignerons engagés. Each cuvée produced by Domaine Fournier Père et Fils is a true reflection of the values and spirit of the estate. We take a back seat to the strength of our terroirs, working them in harmony to better understand them, and expressing them in each and every one of our bottles. Like an orchestra conductor, our oenologist Damien Laurent brings coherence, connection and soul to all our cuvées, which end up forming one big family. All different, all united by the same passion, the same roots.
