Over the years, each winegrower in our family has been able to build a new momentum within the estate with a single objective: to produce an authentic and lively wine.....
The domain's short story
Louis Gross founded the estate with his son Henri in the 1950s. Today, the third and fourth generations continue the family tradition. Rémy and Vincent's guiding principle is to maintain the natural balance within the vineyard. The cultivation practices following the principles of biodynamics allow us to obtain wines of great aromatic purity. Our greatest satisfaction: the return of the sharing of unique moments, enhanced by our wines.
The winemaker's pride
Domaine Gross cultivates its vineyard in Biodynamic Culture on the limestone and marl limestone slopes of the Commune of Gueberschwihr. Each geographical place has a deep geological identity transcribed in the wines produced in these so-called places (Rebgarten Neuweg Steinberg...) or the Grand Cru Goldert. The respect of the soil and the plant over the seasons, punctuated by a manual harvest, allows us to obtain a great aromatic potential for all our vintages.
