Domaine Julien Masquin

The estate is composed of 37 parcels spread over the commune of Courthézon.

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouges parcels are all located in the northeast of the appellation in the localities of Pignan, Les Cassanets, La Crau and La Font du Loup.
Our unique parcel of Châteauneufdu-Pape Blanc is nestled in the heart of the famous
Rayas woods. The
Côtes du Rhône are spread around the village of Courthézon

whites are located in the Bedines district, on sandy soils

The reds are scattered over the Garrigues, Bedines and Nonciades sectors, combining sandy soil and rolled pebbles.

Our story

It was in 1936 that my grandfather, Paul Masquin, decided to enlarge the estate, which only had a few parcels. The work of two generations enabled me in 1998 to take over the management of the estate. After about ten years devoted to restructuring and setting up a rational and reasonable culture, we vinify our first vintages in 2009. Our wines are made from fragmented blends, a subtle balance between tradition and modernity. 2017 is a new stage in the history of the Domaine with the creation of a brand new wine cellar for vinification and maturing. A new tool that allows us to fully express our passion.
