Looking for a winegrower who deserves a visit? Discover the wines of Kévin Descombes. Its farm is located in the heart of Beaujolais in Villié Morgon. There are 6 hectares of vines in the Beaujolais, Beaujolais Village and Morgon appellation. A local wax grape variety, Kevin is a passionate Gamay grower. He produces natural vintages that stand out from each other for the complexity that the Beaujolais terroir offers him. The K. Descombes estate and its wines are to be closely monitored. Let yourself be drawn into the world of Kéké wines.
After having taken over part of my father's vines, I settled on the estate at the beginning of 2013. I have chosen to manage my vines in a sustainable way, and the maintenance of the plots requires a lot of work throughout the ploughing process (from February to August): bush clearing, decavaillonnage, scratching, inter vine stocks etc.... In the summer, the activity does not stop! All work is done manually. The wines of the estate are crisp and fresh, and without inputs.
I was able to learn the fascinating job of winegrower by working alongside my father Georges Descombes. It is a job where you never stop, the tasks are varied: in short, you never get bored! Each cuvée is unique and reveals a particular character of the terroir.
