This is a small estate located in the Saint-Chinian appellation that derives its strength from the multiplicity of its terroirs.
The relief is very variable between the plots, which gives variations between 150 and 300 metres, so the harvest is relatively spread out so that the grapes are all picked at maturity. The
grape varieties cultivated are also varied with carignan, grenache or mourvèdre to name but a few.
The vineyard is operated in an environmentally friendly manner and is certified High Environmental Value (HVE). The
wines produced are fresh and elegant and are on the menus of several renowned restaurants.
The couple Nadia and Cyril Bourgne arrived in 1998 in Saint-Chinian, a return to the roots for Cyril who is the grandson of a winegrower in the region.
However, Cyril did not intend to embark on this path but after scientific studies he decided to graduate in oenology. He works for about ten years in the Bordeaux region. He then made his dream come true by moving to Languedoc. Nadia, after studying tourism and working at Air France, Nadia decided to support her husband in this project.
It is in Saint-Chinian that they fall in love at first sight and leave their suitcases.
The farm building may surprise you with its modernism and indeed, it was designed and built in 2015 by architects from the region! A great way for the couple to add their own touch to this field.
