Domaine Le Chai Duchet

We strive to have the most moderate possible impact on nature because the vine is part of it and therefore contributes to its good health. To do this, we limit the products produced by petrochemicals and plough our vines, which gives them a certain dynamic that preserves the fauna and flora of our land. The same philosophy is applied to the production of our wines by letting them work naturally.

Our story

Winegrower for more than 6 generations. Before the First World War, the Duchet family's farm covered about 4 hectares and vinified its wines on the estate. It was at the end of the 1920s that our family joined other winegrowers to develop and market their products. 1980 - Armand and Sylvie Duchet take over their parents' business and rent some vines. 1991 - Expansion of the property from 2 hectares to 10.5 hectares. 1998 - Our vineyard obtains the communal appellation Viré Clessé. 2013 - Exit of the cooperation and installation of Alexis son of Armand and Sylvie in order to make our wine at the property again.
