It was in 1912 that Lucien Tramier, our great grandfather, fell under the spell of this typical Rhone Valley terroir. He planted his first plots of land around the Provencal village of Jonquières. Lucien then passed on his passion for wine and his taste for a job well done to his son Raymond. In 1952, convinced of the potential of this terroir, Raymond decided to make his own wines. Lucien, his son, will take over the torch by preserving the balance and the typicity of the wines of the Domain.n Today, it is the 4th generation of the family, led by Max Thomas, who perpetuates the same know-how on a daily basis, in order to maintain this patrimony and to leave to our future generations a preserved environment, inheritance of a family of reasonable winegrowers.nn2021 marks the official beginning of the conversion towards an organic agriculture
Year after year, we seek the right balance between innovation and tradition to create authentic, typical and vibrant wines. We take advantage of technical advances while preserving an ancestral family know-how, transmitted from generation to generation. We limit our interventions on the wine during the winemaking process in order to let the specificities of the terroir and its ecological balance express themselves. 2021 marks the beginning of our conversion to organic farming.
Concerned about preserving the quality of our soils and the diversity of our terroirs, we adopt responsible, ecological and sustainable practices. We favor mechanical work of the soil, and reduce phytosanitary treatments to a maximum. We let nature express itself through our grapes and our wines, typical and authentic, in the image of our family winemaker.
