We are located in the commune of Chiroubles, which gives its name to the well-known Beaujolais appellation. We work our 5-hectare vineyard with the utmost respect for traditional viticultural methods while respecting the environment, producing wines in the three leading Beaujolais appellations d'origine contrôlée: Morgon, Fleurie and Chiroubles. As the vine is planted on a complex terroir and on the heights of our plateau, we manage to produce fine wines with minerality. On the Fleurie you will find all the fruity and light notes typical of the wines of our region.
Our family, winegrowers from father to son since 1911, has known over the years how to work and maintain its vines, pamper and harvest its grapes, vinify and mature its wine in the cellar for 5 generations. In 1972, my father, Jean Paul, began to market his bottled wines and in 1995, I took over the reins of the estate and my ambition is to produce quality wines. This is the same year I make my first vintage. Even today, 25 years later, you can still taste my vintages of the year.
At Ludovic, you can even find his sparkling wine from Beaujolais. Its sparkling rosé called Lady Rose is atypical in the region and is noticed by other producers and the specialized press. If you have the opportunity to taste it, don't hesitate!
