Here, in the heart of the Agly Valley, the landscape is magnificent and the sunshine exceptional. The vines, with an average age of 35 years, grow on very varied soils (clay-limestone, schistose marl, pebbles rolled on quaternary terraces, black schist, etc.), and give each cuvée its own personality. While each plot is essential, we pay particular attention to the Espira de l'Agly lands. The terroir is unique, and the soil, dotted with black schists, marks the wines with an unforgettable signature. All our agro-environmental initiatives have just been certified HVE / High Environmental Value!

Our story

Like my parents Annie and Pierre Piquemal who restructured the estate, it is with passion and know-how that I work with my team on the different terroirs of the property. The green work is carried out manually (de-stemming, disbudding, green harvesting), the grassing allows us to control the yields on the young and more productive plots, our work always leads us to plot selections so that each cuvée signed Piquemal is an expression of the richness of our terroirs and grapes.

Other little stories

Some people think that being a winegrower is being a magician... For me, being a winegrower means using your know-how to work the land, vinify, blend and age wines in order to transmit my passion every day to those who taste and share them.
