Domaine Saint Mitre: "An experience to share..." Welcome to the heart of Provence, in a family winery of 35 hectares where rosé, red and white wines are produced under the appellations AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence and IGP vins de pays du Var. Located on the so-called Saint Mitre site, in Saint Maximin la Sainte Baume, in the Var, our vineyard has a wide choice of Provençal grape varieties: syrah, grenache, cinsault, rolle and ugni blanc but also more atypical grape varieties: viognier, marselan, merlot and chardonnay. Our terroir: clayey-limestone soils, relatively cool Var hinterland climate, gives our wines a rich aromatic palette supported by a fresh structure... From standard or high-end vintages, to classic or single varietal Var local wines, there is a real desire to present quality wines for all occasions, including a beautiful range of rosés, from the aerial "Papillon" to be carried in your picnic basket to the gastronomic "Clos Madon". Today we have a majority of independent wine merchants with a passion for wine and we also sell 40% of our bottles abroad. The wines are regularly awarded medals in Paris or Macon and cited in the wine guides (Guide Hachette-Gilbert & Gaillard - Vinalies) and by the regional and national press.

Our story

Already winegrowers in Champagne, the Martin family took over this very old estate in 2004 and works on a daily basis to produce quality wines.
