Anecdotes about the domain
For several years we have been restructuring the vineyard. Concerned about the protection of the environment, we practice a reasoned culture: work of the ground and reduction of the inputs. In order to preserve the typicity of the terroir, the grapes are harvested manually in whole bunches. Our wines are made without sulfur and in semi-carbonic: Silver Medal in Paris 2017, Gold Medal in Mâcon 2017, Gold Medal Féminalise 2017, Silver Medal Frankfurt 2017, Silver Medal Elle à Table 2016.
The domain's short story
In 1983 the domain had only one appellation, Fleurie, and a few years later in 2007 we expanded the domain by taking over parcels in Moulin-a-Vent. Our son joined us on the estate after his studies in viticulture. In 2013, he settled down with two appellations, in order to create a partnership in 2015.
The winemaker's pride
The Domaine is located between Beaujolais and Burgundy in Fleurie, in the heart of the village. 17 hectares of vineyards are cultivated, including two beautiful appellations, Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent, where the only grape variety is Gamay. The vineyard is located on the plain on sandy granite soils for Fleurie, which gives light and elegant wines. Then sandy clay soils for the Moulin-à-Vent appellation give robust and complex wines. HVE certified since 30/10/2019. This label rewards farms committed to respecting biodiversity and nature.
