The Domaine is situated between Beaujolais and Burgundy in Fleurie in the heart of the village. 17 hectares of land is planted with two beautiful appellations: Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent, where the only grape variety is Gamay. The vineyard is situated on the plain on sandy granitic soils for the Fleurie grape, giving light and elegant wines. Then clayey-sandy soils for the Moulin-à-Vent appellation allow to give full-bodied and complex wines.
HVE certified since 30/10/2019. This label rewards farms that are committed to respecting biodiversity and nature.
Family estate of 17 hectares spread over several appellations, in 1983 the estate had only one appellation, Fleurie, a few years later in 2007 we expanded the estate by taking over plots in Moulin-a-Vent. Our son joins us on the farm after his studies in viticulture. It is set up in 2013 with two appellations, with a view to joining forces to create an EARL in 2015.
Since a few years we have been restructuring the vineyard. Concerned about protecting the environment, we practice sustainable cultivation: tillage and reduction of inputs. In order to preserve the typical character of the terroir, the grapes are harvested by hand in whole bunches. Our vinification is sulphur-free and semi-carbonic and our wines have received many awards: Silver Medal in Paris 2017, Gold Medal in Mâcon 2017, Feminized Gold Medal in 2017, Silver Medal in Frankfurt 2017, Silver Medal in Elle at Table 2016.
