Winegrower in the commune of Nothalten for 3 generations, we work our vines on hillsides whose soil often varies. This allows us to produce wines with character... We organize daily tastings that allow us to follow the evolution and decide on the balance to give to each of our wines. It is in a concern for excellence for our wines that we magnify them and work so that from year to year their qualities are the best possible.
Fabrice took over the management of the farm in 2001, and works in sustainable cultivation. Our vines allow us to produce about twenty wines on our list. Our 8.5 ha farm is located in the middle of the village where our parents and grandparents lived before us. Today, it is up to us, Jean-Marie, Simone and Fabrice to offer you a wide range of products. Generic AOC wines, AOC Crémant, Cuvées des Anges, Cuvée Elena, Cuvée Léa NATURE as well as the places known as Zellberg, Heissenberg and Grand Cru Muenchberg. After studies and some professional experience, Fabrice joined the farm in 2001. He took the direction of the cellars for his first vinification under the watchful eye of his father. He is embarking on new adventures and is allowing his estate to grow from 7 to 20 vintages today, for your pleasure.
For me, viticulture is not a profession, it is a culture, a way of life.
I enjoy winemaking to satisfy my customers and myself as much as possible. The harvest is partly done manually and mechanically. The pneumatic pressing allows to obtain juices of all finesse and the vinification is done freely, allowing the wines time to ferment.
Between wine and me, it's like Obelix, I fell into it as a child. And since then I haven't gotten tired of it. We operate in a sustainable culture, and work to give our wines the greatest typicity of our terroirs and grape varieties to offer those who taste them a moment of pleasure and conviviality. Sharing is a value that has driven us since the beginning of our work from winemaking to the marketing of our wines.
