Fruit of several generations, this family farm of 15 hectares is located in the middle of the vineyards and overlooks the pretty village of VERDIGNY. This unique location offers a breathtaking view of the famous SANCERRE hill and its vineyards. Today, Jean-Marie REVERDY, guided by his vocation, is making the VILLAUDIERE estate prosper with his wife, Catherine, and his two sons, Guillaume and Baptiste. Wine has been in our family's blood for 11 generations. We remain inspired by the same values: a hereditary attachment to the Loire Valley, an instinctive passion for the terroirs, an innate respect for people and work. Patience, perseverance and accuracy are the key words that drive the members of the VILLAUDIERE domain. From the management of the vine to the production of the wines, each one perpetuates and develops the work begun by previous generations. Placed between authenticity and modernity, this philosophy leads them every day to rigour and respect.
From the harvest to the bottling, the grapes, the must and then the wine are the object of our most meticulous attention so that each cuvée reveals the particularities of its terroir of origin... Being a winegrower according to us today is: - Respect for the living - Love of the terroir - Revealing our Appellations - Sharing and transmission
"Sharing his passion gives even more meaning to this magnificent profession! "
