Based in the heart of Burgundy, in Gevrey Chambertin. We mainly grow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes in the following appellations: Bourgogne Chardonnay (plot located in Meursault), Saint Romain "La combe Bazin", Gevrey Chambertin "Creux Brouillard", Fixin 1er cru "Les Hervelets", Fixin 1er cru "Les Hervelets" But also varietal wines (Syrah, Grenache and Viognier) in the south of the Rhône valley not far from Cornas.our vineyard is mainly on slopes.
The harvest is hand-picked in small 5kg boxes to preserve the fruit intact with very rigorous sorting in the vineyard and then in the vat house. The wines are vinified with natural yeasts without addition. Our terroirs are mainly clay-limestone.
Passionate about wine since the youngest age. My adventure began during the 2013 harvest with the breeding of my very first grapes in the following appellations: Bourgogne Chardonnay (plot located in Meursault), Saint Romain "La combe Bazin", Gevrey Chambertin "Creux Brouillard", Fixin 1er cru "Les Hervelets". It is above all a work of passion, that of transforming a raw material in order to magnify it and offer a finished product of high quality. Craftsman, winemaker, breeder, I buy my grapes from the winegrowers I know and then work them in respect of the terroirs.
A brief look back at the birth of this passion! It is in 2010 that I start my adventure with Sylvain CHOLET, winegrower in Meursault. I learned how to work the vines in organic farming and how to respect the terroirs. It was therefore in the land of the Chardonnay that I was able to perfect my knowledge of the great white wines of Burgundy. In 2012, I am getting closer to Dijon and the remarkable village of Gevrey Chambertin. This is where I start my work as cellar master at Domaine Pierre NAIGEON. Each plot of vines is different and brings its share of complexity to the final wine.
My experience of several months in Australia also allowed me to discover several grape varieties: syrah, viognier and grenache, which made me want to vinify them in France. It is from my experiences in France and abroad that I decided in 2013 to produce and raise my own wines. These wines are made in Burgundy style, aged in oak barrels with the use of indigenous yeast.
Being a winegrower is above all a respect for the terroir, working with what nature gives us without changing it, and I am proud to have worked with a Parisian artist to design the labels; Tyrsa (http://www.tyrsa.fr), a renowned typographer. Like wines, the label is authentic. A meticulous work that offers us a gourmet visual. You can find his signature on the label at the bottom right.
