Anecdotes about the domain

I am a winemaker and committed to my profession. In 2009, I created with 20 women winemakers from Languedoc Roussillon, the Vinifilles association. This idea simply came from a desire to get together with other girls, to exchange ideas about our profession, to give a more realistic image of women winemakers, and to talk about wine with the words and ideas of women. We have a great complicity and we help each other.

The domain's short story

I wrote my story as I went along, nothing prepared me to be a winemaker one day, but my career path led me there, as if it were obvious. Writer, journalist and wine teacher, the desire to create a domain became a reality in 1997. I fell under the spell of the tempestuous Causse de Montpeyroux. Since then, each day is a new adventure, an enchantment that I love to share.

The winemaker's pride

The winery is located in the commune of Saint Jean de Fos near the small village of Saint Guilhem le désert. The 10 hectares of vines are planted mainly in Terrasses du Larzac, and in Languedoc Montpeyroux where the vines reach 400m. According to the four red grape varieties, the different soils bring complexity to the wines, sand, gravel, clay and limestone soils. In order to preserve the originality of the soils and the fauna, all the vines are managed in organic agriculture. Harvesting is done by hand, and yields are very limited (from 15 to 25 hl/ha).
