The estate is located in the commune of Saint Jean de Fos in Terrasses du Larzac with some of its vines in Montpeyroux. The 10 hectares of vines are mainly planted on terraces and those of Montpeyroux dominate at an altitude of 400 m. According to the four red grape varieties, the different soils bring complexity to the wines, sand, pebbles, clay and limestone soil, under limestone soils. The vines of Montpeyroux are very old, from 40 to 100 years old. In order to preserve the originality of the soil and the fauna, all the vines are grown organically. Harvesting is manual, and yields are very limited (from 15 to 25 hl/ha).
I have written my history as I went along, nothing prepared me to be a winegrower one day, but my journey has led me to it, as a matter of course. Writer, journalist and teacher for wine, the desire was growing stronger and stronger, it was then that in 1998 that I turned this desire into reality by creating a wine estate. I fall in love with this Causse de Montpeyoux and its small sheepfold. Since each day is an adventure I never get tired of, an enchantment I like to share.
I am a winegrower and committed to my profession, founder of Vinifilles en Occitanie, an association that brings together more than 20 winegrowers from Languedoc-Roussillon. This idea simply came from a desire to get together as a girl and talk about wine with a different image of the winemaking profession. We have a great complicity and we help each other.
