This is the story of a family. A family of passionate farmers for several generations around a common passion: the love of the Earth.
Thus, for more than 100 years we have been harvesting grapes and olives in Chusclan, a small village located in the heart of the Côtes du Rhône and at the gateway to Provence.
Our family farm EARL Ouliveto Labelled High Environmental Value Level 3/3 counts today 50 hectares of vines and 500 olive trees, spread over 5 Communes.
We strive every day to cherish our land and to continue the work we have done so far. What a pride to transmit in our turn, a century later, these lands to our children and grandchildren. We have taken care of the land while respecting the environment and biodiversity thanks to the techniques we have put in place to limit the use of inputs, in particular by working the soil, using bird nesting boxes, the weather station and sexual confusion.
For me, being a winegrower is a story of sharing, of transmission between generations. It is the heritage that we receive but also the one that we will pass on to future generations. My greatest pride is when my son joined me on the farm in 2016 so that we could build Maison Rivier together to perpetuate the farm.
What a privilege and happiness to work daily with my family under the watchful eye of Grandpa Jean, Grandpa Jean Claude as well as my uncles who still give me their precious advice; each with more than 65 years of experience.
