MAS DE LA DEVEZE

The Mas de la Devèze is situated in the commune of Tautavel, at the foot of the Corbières, on a very pretty, arid and windy schist soil. The environment of the Mas is wild and very preserved. We work our 34 ha of vines in sustainable agriculture, with successive ploughing, manual harvesting and cold storage of the grapes from the harvest to preserve the grapes and the expression of the terroir.

Our story

Simon was a farmer in the Bouches-du-Rhône, not far from Aix-en-Provence, and Nathalie has always worked in the wine industry at the commercial level (export and France). Then the family grew.... As the children grew up, it was only natural that we sought to set up a common project around the vine and wine by sharing our experiences and skills, and our love of the land and wine. We bought the Mas de la Devèze in 2012 to live there and develop our wine activity. The Agly Valley is indeed more and more recognized in France and abroad for the excellence of its terroir producing great wines. In 2012, we bought 6 hectares of vines near the Mas, then we expanded to about 30 hectares by looking for a wider variety of terroirs and grape varieties around the Mas.
