The vineyard covers an area of 10 hectares in the small wine village of Roquefort-des-Corbières, in the heart of the Narbonnais Natural Park. Vines have been part of the family for 150 years, since I was very young I have had a strong attraction for agriculture, vines and nature, and I have chosen to return to essential values, which are for me the relationship with the land and mother nature... The result of my passion is the sharing of my wines with others.
I took over the family vineyards in 2015, Jean-Philippe Padié brought me all his knowledge and his confidence in order to make wines that look like me. The vines are grown organically, hand-picked, vinified in doses of homeopathic sulphur and indigenous yeasts, while respecting the lunar calendar for both the vines and the cellar. The grape varieties, chosen with great care, are perfectly adapted to the climate and the soil. Traditional grape varieties, but of great quality: carignan, black grenache, mourvèdre, syrah and grenache gris, cinsault. My guiding principle is fruit, freshness and lightness. My wines are the expression of a terroir.
I have decided to run my entire vineyard in organic farming. First, I will make the transition to organic farming a reality, then to Bio Dynamie gradually so as not to traumatize the vines. This is why I am gradually integrating the lunar cycle into the management of the vineyard and into the cellar work, and I am committed to protecting this beautiful nature in which I thrive. As an eco-citizen winegrower, I am proud to lead a responsible and sustainable agriculture. This environmental quality is essential in my wines.
