Anecdotes about the domain

For me, being a winemaker is first of all a strong contact with nature. Although we have to adapt to nature, it is a profession in which we can leave a lot of room for our creativity! Among my sources of inspiration, I would mention my father who passed on to me his passion for wine. Then, I am constantly nourished by exchanges with those around me, moments of sharing that bring me so much! I strive to produce wines of great freshness, and when it comes to dressing my vintages, I set no limits!

The domain's short story

The Sainte Marie des Crozes estate is a family story! I represent the 5th generation. When I arrived in 2012 at the estate, we led the winemaker in organic farming. Today, we are integrating notions of biodynamics, including making our own indigenous yeasts. We made this choice in order to go further in our environmental approach. I have also renovated our entire communication, with a much more comical approach!

The winemaker's pride

Located in the heart of Alaric, Domaine Sainte Marie is the northernmost part of the Corbières region. First woman winegrower of this family estate, Christelle Alias perpetuates the family tradition by adding her own touch of madness! Enjoying a soil surrounded by the scrubland, on the hillside, it offers you certified organic wines of great freshness, with sweet scents of thyme and hawthorn!
