Amélie et Cécile Buecher

It would be 7 generations that the Buecher family exploits the domain, maybe even 10 but we don't have the proof! Each generation has brought a stone to what the domain is today: original and unique. It was Cécile and Amélie's father who stopped using any synthetic products in the vineyards because of their grandfather's health, who was suffering from Alzheimer's. Several years later, doctors proved that the use of chemical products in the agricultural sector could cause this disease. So he had intuition... But that's not all! Amélie and Cécile's uncle being a homeopath, the family wanted to try to apply homeopathic methods to the vineyard. The two girls then studied the wine business and traveled between Vancouver and Florida. When they came back, it was obvious. This vineyard of human size allows them to bring a very particular attention to the vine. They obtained the Demeter certification in order to enhance the biodynamic work undertaken by their parents. They apply the knowledge they have learned at school and during different trips. They make their own compost, plow the land with horses and make wine according to the lunar cycle. For them, if the lunar cycle is 28 days long, like the woman's, it is not a coincidence...
