VILLA MINNA VINEYARD is a family estate in Provence that produces an atypical and exceptional auteur wine outside the framework of the appellations, in a completely confidential and natural way.
Located in the south of France between Aix en Provence and Salon de Provence, the VILLA MINNA vineyard lies on a soil composed of limestone rocks characterised by numerous fossils where the vine fully expresses its aromatic potential. The cultivation of our vines is part of organic farming, which has always been part of our way of working. We do not use pesticides, weedkillers or chemical fertilizers. The harvest is done by hand with a rigorous selection of the bunches that are sent to the crate in order to avoid any crushing. The vinification is done in small stainless steel vats, and in barrels for 30% of the whites, exclusively from the indigenous yeasts initially present in the grapes' berries. The wine is matured in an underground cellar, sheltered from temperature variations, in oak barrels on fine lees with stirring. The blending of grape varieties and wines, both drop and press, is carried out in such a way as to obtain a harmonious and balanced wine.
The wines are powerful, gourmet, full of freshness and great aromatic complexity with great ageing potential. They are marketed 5 years after the harvest for reds and three years for whites. A winegrower's wine made for the love of wine...
