Agathe Dalisson, from Bordeaux, and Amaury Coste, from Burgundy, met in Kabul, on neutral ground! It is also in neutral ground, in the Languedoc, that they decided to settle and take over Villa Tempora in 2017 with the will to cultivate the vine as naturally as possible and produce fresh and authentic wines.
Since our takeover, the estate has grown a little, from 6 to about ten hectares, which remains on a human scale. Vines have been planted and will soon start to bear fruit: old grape varieties from the region (Bourboulenc, Carignan Blanc et Gris, Terret Bourret and Tourbat Blanc, also known as Malvoisie du Roussillon) have been chosen, because they are better adapted to the climate (and its changes)....), that they allow us to compose original and elegant wines and finally because it is exciting to participate in bringing them back from the past and to soon share the fruits (certainly fermented) with our friends, families and customers!
