Our estate is above all a family story and a passion.
Winegrowers in Beaujolais since 1682, my brother Alex and myself Marine, are with our parents the last generation to work our vines in Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées.
Concerned about passing on to future generations a healthy land, a preserved landscape and aware of environmental issues, we have committed our estate, our profession and our passion to responsible winegrowing. This sustainable environmental approach is something we would like you to discover every day in complete transparency by opening the doors of our cellar to you.
A sustainable and certified environmental approach:
Our estate is committed to the Terra Vitis approach, a label of sustainable viticulture, certified by an independent organization. In concrete terms, our objective is to drastically reduce our environmental impact by producing healthy, high-quality, terroir wines. We ensure our production by reducing the level of residues to a minimum. Each of our actions is the result of observation and reflection. In the cellar, we continue our efforts by vinifying our wines without any input. Thus, we only use a very low dose before bottling. In the end, our wines are livelier and more expressive, while ensuring their ageing potential.
Wines of terroir and character:
All our wines are the result of a rigorous selection of plots. The diversity of the Beaujolais terroir allows us to have grapes with a strong character. In love with discovery, we work with the original Beaujolais grape varieties: Gamay, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, but also rare grape varieties: Gamaret and Pinot Gris.
In the cellar, Alexandre, oenologist, reveals the immense potential of our terroirs with rigorous hygiene. A control of the fermentation temperatures, long macerations and a soft extraction.
Thus we offer a dozen vintages produced in small quantities where each bottle reveals its terroir and its grape variety.
Local and responsible development:
we are very much involved in the emergence of wine tourism in the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées. This is an opportunity for us to help you discover the treasures of our region through responsible tourism, resolutely turned towards nature and its respect.
All you have to do is come and discover us and our wines in the little "French Tuscany" of the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées.
For as long as I can remember, my life has always been set against the backdrop of the Beaujolais hills and the love of wine. Both Alex and I have left the region and worked in other vineyards in France and abroad. Wine remained the common thread in our studies and careers, but perhaps we needed to live elsewhere.
For years, I made my way through life with the feeling that something was missing in my life. One day, I came back to Beaujolais, to work the vineyards and wines of my childhood with my brother and I knew that despite all the obstacles and challenges, this was where my life was, where the values I wanted to pass on to my children were.
