A golden chenin with a lot of material and a beautiful tension.
Owned by the Taittinger family until 1968, then abandoned, this 9 ha plot remained fallow for almost 40 years. There is no question of putting chemicals in it, so this is where organic farming started in the field.
It is very good to drink now in the power, but between 5 and 10 years of ageing will bring it a beautiful maturity and complexity.
With a fleshy material, this chenin will go very well with white meats.
