A beautiful dark red color with garnet reflections. An intense nose with aromas of ripe fruits (cherry, blackcurrant). On the palate, a powerful and complex wine with soft and silky tannins and notes of black cherries and vanilla. About my favorite of the trio produced by Beauchêne is the Chateauneuf du Pape vignoble de la Serriere, a blend of 65% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre. It combines floral aromas with notes of ripe cherries, before delivering a light spice finish. 90/100 on Robert' Parker Wine Advocate
