The yellow serine colour, which has golden hues, is luminous. It reflects all the concentration of overripe chenin grains. In great olfactory purity, the nose reveals itself with the freshness and vivacity of the flowers (lime and lemongrass), then white and yellow compote fruits dominated by apricots and compote vine peaches, to finish with notes of sweet spices (cloves, cinnamon...) The presence in the mouth is a wonder of balance. The very smooth attack is just like the roasted grains, and this sweetness has the freshness necessary to energize the finish, and make it a great northern wine!
Thanks to its aromatic potential, this wine is perfect for a festive and gourmet tasting and will go well with many dishes.
Serving temperature: Between 7° and 8° Storage: To be consumed between 2018 and 2024
This wine is ideal for aperitifs and also goes well with duck foie gras, semi-cooked or fried, candied gizzard salads and duck breasts, marbled cheeses (bleu d'Auvergne, Fourme d'Ambert, Roquefort), hot tatindo pies, apricot and almond paste pies, all white fruit or sour vegetable desserts.
