The palate is elegant and intense, with notes of fresh red fruits, with extremely fine tannins and a fresh, minty and spicy finish.
Our Bandol Rouge is a very elegant wine, combining the power of Mourvèdre (70%) and the delicacy of Cinsault (20%). Favourite of the 2019 selection of the Revue du Vin de France (11.2019).
2016 is a great vintage, to be drunk now it expresses all the brilliance of the fruit, or to be kept for 10 to 15 years, so that the magnificent aromas of Mourvèdre's evolution can be revealed (light tobacco, leather...)
To be served with a Provençal beef stew, a shoulder of candied lamb, a brie de Meaux... and especially with good friends!
