Our 25 hectares of vines are located on an exceptional terroir, on the outskirts of Toulouse, in the Fronton appellation: the boulbènes soils of the ancient Tarn terraces combined with a very favorable climate. Stefan Heppelmann, as passionate about wine as he is about rugby, has been the proud owner of Château Clamens since 2012. He is dedicated to producing elegant wines from our unique Négrette grape variety.

Our story

Family estate created in 1868 located in Fronton, in the heart of the South West of France.

Other little stories

The care we take with our land enables us to produce wines with High Environmental Value. We manage the vines with a view to controlling yields and production, focusing on quality (less than 45 hl/ha) and minimizing the amount of sulfur in our wines (around 50 mg/l for reds).
