A mellow, intense, almost carnal wine. A surprising mix of candied, dried fruit, exotic flavours, slightly spicy (cinnamon, ginger), notes of cocoa and honey: a wide and powerful aromatic palette but all in harmony. A very slight hint of acidity at the beginning of the mouth to avoid any heaviness. Our Straw manages to have the perfect balance between this acidity and the sugar, no excess, everything is round. During the tasting, it is frequent to see an angel passing by (we're doing a bit too much here, aren't we?) .

The word of the Winemaker, Alain de Laguiche :

A rare wine (1% of the production), Paille is obtained by drying selected grapes on racks, harvested at maturity. More than 3kgs of grapes are necessary for half a bottle, which gives an idea of the concentration of the aromas! The whole will be raised more than 3 years in barrel. The "Paille" is a sensory experience!
