A rare wine (1% of the production), the Straw is obtained by drying on racks of selected grapes, harvested at maturity. More than 3kgs of grapes are needed for half a bottle, this gives an idea of the concentration of the aromas! The whole will be matured for more than 3 years in barrels. The "Straw"...

Tasting

When ?

Serve between 13 and 17°C. Can be kept up to 80 years. For special occasions or for pleasure.

How ?

On a foie gras, a dessert, sometimes with certain cheeses. Our best agreement without anything, for itself, in a liqueur glass and in gallant company...or with friends!

The Wine Estate

Nathalie & Emmanuel GRAND

Nathalie and Emmanuel Grand, two wine and vine enthusiasts, have created a 9.5 hectare winery. After a long work of setting up in the vineyard, the 2018 harvest marks the beginning of the conversion of the estate to organic farming for a label with the 2021 harvest. Our philosophy is based on simple values: Respect for the land, the terroir, the grapes, the wine and the people, this has been the watchword at Domaine Grand for the 9 generations of winegrowers who have run their vineyards. The conversion to organic farming requires high standards, rigour and passion, which are the keys to success in order to fully express the fulfilment of our work in the creation of our vintages. More than a philosophy, respect for nature, listening to it, for Domaine Grand it is an art of living. ...
