Deep cherry colour. The nose is powerful from the first impression, and reveals notes of liquorice, raisins, cooked fruits and a whole range of sweet spices that find their place among the woody aromas. Very fleshy on the palate, it quickly reveals its power, supported by long refined tannins in the barrel and a beautiful aromatic maturity. The woody aromas bring a lot of length to this wine on the finish.
This wine also comes from a plot adjoining the château, called Le Clos. After a longer vatting period, this wine is aged in casks for 18 months to give the wine all its finesse, roundness and subtle woody taste!
