A plot-based cuvée, produced in one of our 4 "lieux-dits cadastral" located in the Côte de Brouilly appellation. One of the greatest terroirs of the Côte de Brouilly. The exact place is "Côte de Brouilly", the homonym of the appellation, known as "Brûlhier".

The Wine Estate

Since its birth in 1676, this beautiful wine château built on plans by Jules-Hardouin Mansart and André Le Nôtre - whose main door was carved with a Bacchus, God of wine - has remained a family home. The descendants of the founder, Jean-François de La Chaize d'Aix, looked after the estate for nearly three hundred and fifty years. In 2017, they passed it on to another family, that of Christophe Gruy. Determined to magnify this remarkable vineyard with the greatest respect for nature, he developed, with Boris Gruy - his nephew and Director of Operations of the estate - a daring ecological approach: conversion to organic viticulture, then biodynamic viticulture, recovery of each by-product of the winegrowing activity in a zero-waste dynamic, use of machinery, vehicles and equipment running solely on electricity with the goal of "zero CO2 emissions", and a parcel-by-parcel approach.

Très beau vin, qui démontre que le Beaujolais a fait son chemin qualitatif et joue au même niveau que la Bourgogne ou le Rhône Nord. Baies rouges et noires légèrement confiturées, légère notes boisées, un vrai vin de gastronomie sur lequel le plaisir est évident.
