A pale and brilliant robe, this white Beaujolais reveals itself with scents of lime blossom and roses. A fruity note of stone fruits on the palate accompanied by a nice acidity gives this wine a very nice pleasant and refreshing balance.
The only white Beaujolais on a commune of the Mâconnais "Chaintré", the vines are located less than 100 metres from the Pouilly-Fuissé on soils that give them a lot of depth and texture accentuated by their maturing in vats on lees for 18 months.
This excellent value for money wine can be served chilled as an aperitif now and it also has a great capacity to keep for up to 10 years.
It goes very well with pink or white fish, Risotto, lobster, Roquefort cheese, goat's cheese, Greek salad, spicy food (chilli pepper), chicken or pork with cream sauces, scallops or oysters.
