Chateau Frédignac - la favorite - Rouge - 2014

This wine, dominated by Merlot and structured by Cabernet Franc, is born on a clayey-limestone soil. Its colour is dashing with a ruby hue. It is a delicate and sweet wine with aromas of ripe black fruit, vanilla and delicate toast. On the palate, the attack is round and opens with a beautiful tannic structure with well-melted woody notes. In the end, a supple and silky wine offering a beautiful compromise between finesse and complexity.

The word of the Winemaker, :

A favourite for this magnificently balanced and supple wine with floral notes on the finish.

The Wine Estate

Vincent L'AMOULLER and his partner Ludivine LEMAITRE, settled since 2013, represent the 5th generation of winegrowers of the L'AMOULLER family in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The 20 hectares of the estate are located on a clayey-limestone hillside overlooking the Gironde and the Citadel of Blaye. The vines are worked without any synthetic chemical inputs (certified in Organic Agriculture since 2010).

The opinion of Ambassadors

Fruits, tannins et acidité: ce Bordeaux bio a tout ce qu'il faut!

Une promesse tenue pour Château Fredignac ! Des fruits noirs bien présents avec une bonne acidité et des tannins bien fondus ! Superbe !

Très gourmand, tannins fondus : très agréable !

C'est long et intéressant. Il fait déjà plaisir mais j'ai envie de l'ouvrir à nouveau dans 3-4 ans !

Jolie facture, une touche grillée
