The colour is a very deep red with purple highlights. Intense nose, red fruits, spices, smoke. Silky palate, supple tannins, very ripe. Nice length. This wine is very fruity and gourmet. Harmonious, rich and powerful with supple tannins and ripe fruit. It is a wine of pleasure to share with friends and especially with Syrah lovers. It will accompany you for dishes in sauce with spices.

The Wine Estate

Founded in 1770, Château la Bastide was one of the most imposing estates in the Aude. Located in the north of the Corbières PDO, the estate covers 180 hectares, 60 of which are under vine (70% PDO and 30% PGI).
