The nose of this cuvée is complex, fruity with notes of black cherry, woody aromas, roasted with aromas of light tobacco and caramel. The attack is gourmet and sweet on red fruits. The flavours of blond and caramel tobacco recall the nose and form a beautiful balance. The tannins bring elegance and softness.

The word of the Winemaker, :

A wine with finesse, elegance and character. Aging of this vintage for at least 18 months in oak barrels.

Tasting

When ?

Château Romanin Rouge 2013 has a cellaring potential of 15 years and will ideally be served at a temperature between 16 and 18 °C.

How ?

This cuvée will go perfectly with a lacquered duck accompanied by a stir-fry of carrots and zucchini spiced with spices or with a veal fricassee and a morel sauce.

The Wine Estate

Château Romanin is the encounter between Nature, fierce and wild, and Man who shapes it in his image. Spread over 58 hectares, located on a large red terroir of the Les Baux-de-Provence appellation, the vineyard is composed of a scree soil whose stones capture heat during the day to release it at night and take advantage of the refreshing faculty of the mistral. Protected by the scrubland, olive trees and almond trees, the vine clings to the ruins of a 13th century castle of the Templar Order with its rich historical past.
