Beautiful ruby colour with a good depth, still young with purple reflections, clear and brilliant, with thickness and tears. The nose immediately reveals an extracted wine with quite pronounced woody aromas (burnt wood, intense toasted, smoky, roasted, ground coffee and cocoa bean notes) which combine with pulpy black fruit fragrances close to fruit liqueurs (cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry). Airing adds fragrances of cigars and sweet spices (vanilla). The palate has a full and silky attack, with a smooth and tasty spirit of black fruit and liquorice. As it evolves, it is a rich, concentrated and powerful wine where the fruity flesh perfectly coats the structure and the breeding. The whole has a nice grain with a rather pure fruity expression. The tannins and ageing aromas still need to develop a patina on the finish, but we are heading in the right direction.
