The aeration reveals a greedy nose where red and black fruits are fully expressed, with spicy, cocoa notes, slightly resined. The attack, dense and ample, gives way to a velvety mid-palate where aromas of wild strawberry, cherry and raspberry explode, with notes of white flower, fresh tobacco, clove, white pepper and cocoa bean. The finish, with a beautiful length, is carried by racy and tasty tannins.

2016 is a magical vintage in Bordeaux. With a dry and cool year, the terroir was able to express itself fully. The vines offered concentrated grapes with tasty tannins and a rich aromatic palette. Vinified and matured with simplicity, the wine, both dense and complex, has a remarkable ageing potential.
