Young, the Clos de Grange-Vieille has a deep ruby red colour. To take advantage of the full extent of its aromatic palette, it is advisable to air it for about ten hours before serving, just by removing the cork. If this is not possible, it is preferable to decant it. You will then enjoy its red fruit aromas, slightly spicy. You will find the vanilla flavours due to the ageing in oak barrels. The tannins remain supple and prepare the wine for long ageing.

The word of the Winemaker, :

Vinification: 2 to 3 pumping over per day during the 8 to 10 days of vinification. Fermentation temperature at 25/27°C. Maceration for 2 to 3 weeks to reinforce the tannic structure and colour intensity. Ageing: 12 months in French oak barrels, of which 15 to 20% are new....
