In the year 96 of our era, the Emperor Domitian made tear off the vine to the profit of the culture of the wheat. It was in the 3rd century that the Emperor Probus had the vine replanted in the Quercy.
It is to pay homage to him that Jean, the father of Jean-Luc Baldès, created in 1976 this top-of-the-range vintage.
